Excellent results, clear coat, silky finish.
A first coat gave a rich, light-brown finish to this project, and brought out the grain. (Compare the unfinished white oak from which it came.) A foam brush applied the Glancy's beautfully. The first coat did not produce the gloss I wanted, but then I don't think I soaked in enough the first time. A second coat produced a wonderful gloss. It doesn't even seem to need a top coat, but I put on bit of paste wax just for extra protection. I still have half of the small bottle left. Very pleased.
I didn't think that old burl walnut rifle stock could look that incredible again . It may even look better than new, because the handling marks tell a story of its use over the years .
Product is precisely as described, and I am very happy with it.
I used it on Poplar and it was well defined!!!
